Buffy, the Vampire Slayer (I honestly don’t know her real name) is currently on a pertussis vaccine campaign.
This pertussis vaccine campaign is paid for by the vaccine industry, so pretty much the actress Buffy is paid by the vaccine manufacture to talk about their product. But rest assured, her message is not for the money. And there is certainly no conflict of interest.
Her message comes from the point of view of a mother , being that she is a mom to young children.
“I’m just like everyone else out there,” Gellar said. “I’m a mom trying to keep my kids healthy”…
Her claim during the segment on Fox News is that the pertussis vaccine keeps her children “healthy”. Yet in the same segment, she describes “when my daughter started pre-school, she was sick for pretty much six months straight. I thought that I would have a chair at the pediatrician’s office with my name on it, I had been there so much.”
Buffy, my brood of children have never so much as spent more than a day at the pediatricians office. If your daughter was sick for 6 months straight, you might not exactly be the best spokesperson to promote children’s “health” through vaccines.
I honestly don’t get it. Buffy is paid probably millions, by a multi-billion dollar industry to promote a product that has proven time and time again to be ineffective and unsafe.
This vaccine continues to fail, yet here’s Buffy urging every living human being to get their pertussis (whooping cough) vaccine to keep kids “healthy”.
Buffy ended the segment saying “I think there’s a lot of misinformation out there about vaccines”
That’s about the only thing I can agree with her on. Yes Buffy, there is a lot of misinformation about vaccines. And you are being paid to spread the misinformation.
And Buffy, just as you said…. “I’m just like everyone else out there. I’m a mom trying to keep my kids healthy”…
Expect I don’t get paid anything to talk about this topic. And my kids really are healthy.
